Location: Canmore, Alberta
Schedule: Permanent, Full Time (40hrs/week)
Wage: Salary $60,000k annually + Tips from tasting room hours

Who you will work with …
Direct report: Matt Widmer, Director of Sales and Marketing.
Working relationships with: Office administrator, tasting room team, marketing team, sales team, production team, and Wild Life customers.
What you are responsible for ...
- Manage and execute all off-site events, including but not limited to driving to and from event locations in the company vehicle, loading and unloading product and materials, setting up and tearing down event spaces, handling and professionally representing WLD products on-site, operating the POS system, managing and balancing the cash till throughout the event, engaging with customers and selling WLD products in a professional manner, completing post-event cash-out reconciliation, packing up all product and equipment, and returning the company vehicle to the distillery
- Work with the Office Administrator, Sales, and Marketing teams to plan and execute WLD activations, tastings, and off-site events.
- Assist in developing and maintaining effective communication workflows to ensure all aspects of off-site events are coordinated, clearly communicated, and executed smoothly.

Working in the tasting room and retail space, including cocktail preparation and service, retail sales, bar preparation, cleaning duties, operation of the POS system, and opening and closing responsibilities. This also includes cash handling and nightly reconciliation to ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and balanced.

This is an ideal position for a team player who is positive, energetic, and motivated by working in a customer-focused environment. The best individual fit for this role will have a genuine interest in working with local craft spirits, interacting with customers—both locals and visitors—and creating memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications and Required Experience ...
- 2+ years experience in hospitality and/or events
- Valid AGLC ProServe
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40lbs.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
